Between Love and Obsession: Behind the Scenes of Israeli Mythology
Gundar-Goshen is the author of Waking Lions, a bestselling novel in Europe and Israel and released in 2017 in the United States to outstanding reviews. The New York Times included the book in its 2017 list of 100 notable books. She won the Sapir Prize for Debut Fiction in 2012 for One Night, Markovitch. It also won the Adei Vizo Prize in both France and Italy and has been translated to 15 languages. Gundar-Goshen’s film and television screenplays have also won international recognition. She is teaching this semester at San Francisco State University as part of the national Schusterman Visiting Israeli Artist Program.
