CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE (WYOMING) -- “His understanding and knowledge of local issues and people will benefit readers,” Star-Tribune general manager Dale Bohren said in a statement. “Newsroom leadership is vital, and Josh Wolfson’s demonstrated abilities to develop and manage top reporting talent positions the Star-Tribune to serve Wyoming readers well into the future.”

Wolfson grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and Los Angeles before earning a journalism degree from San Francisco State University. He moved to Casper more than 10 years ago after working for publications in Northern California.

“I’m excited to lead our amazing staff of journalists,” Wolfson said in a statement. “They tell the stories that matter to people who live and work in Wyoming. I know how important the Star-Tribune is to our state, and I’m deeply honored to serve as editor.”
