Leslie Mitchner: Transitions in Scholarly Publishing: The Effect on Authors

Leslie Mitchner is associate director and editor-in-chief of Rutgers University Press. She has built publication lists in film, women's studies, American studies, African American studies and Latino studies. As editor-in-chief, she oversees all acquisitions, including clinical health and medicine, sociology, literary studies, anthropology and many other fields. Mitchner's interest in movies began at an early age on the back lots of studios in Los Angeles, where her father was a film and television editor and director. Free.
