Rachel Levitsky
Rachel Levitsky is the author of a novel, The Story of My Accident is Ours (Futurepoem, 2013); two books of poetry, Under the Sun (Futurepoem, 2003) and NEIGHBOR (UDP, 2009); and a number of chapbooks including Renoemos (Delete, 2010) and 2(1+1) (a+bend, 1999). She is a member of the Belladonna Collaborative, a feminist avant-garde hub for interventions in writing, reading, engaged discourse and activism. In 2010 with Christian Hawkey, she started The Office of Recuperative Strategies, a mobile research unit variously located in Amsterdam, Berlin, Boulder, Brooklyn, Cambridge, Governors Island and The Holland Tunnel in New York City and University of Leipzig. She lives in Brooklyn and teaches at Pratt Institute.
Latasha N. Nevada Diggs
Writer, vocalist and sound artist Latasha N. Nevada Diggs has written three chapbooks including Ichi-Ban and Ni-Ban and Manuel is destroying my bathroom and has recorded an album, Televisíon. Her poetry collection, TwERK, was recently published by Belladonna Collective. She, along with Greg Tate, are the editors of yoYO/SO4 Magazine. Her work has been published nationally, performed internationally and received scholarships, residencies and fellowships from Cave Canem, Harvestworks Digital Media Arts Center, Naropa Institute, Caldera Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, the Eben Demarest Trust, Harlem Community Arts Fund and the Barbara Deming Memorial Grant for Women. Diggs curates and directs literary and musical events with The Black Rock Coalition Orchestra. The New York Times writes: “Ms. Diggs is a rich-voiced wonder whose West Indian lilt is mesmerizing.”
