The school’s orchestra will take you on an emotional journey, from the frozen landscape of Vivaldi’s Winter through the lands of sorrow of Barber, Reich and Beethoven to the exuberant romp of Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2.
November 9
This band program proposes a tuneful grab bag of thrilling and calming, dissonant and consonant, modern and classic band literature. Featuring pieces selected for wind ensemble and concert band. Works by Charles Carter, John Barnes Chance, Frank Ticheli, Robert Sheldon, Anton Bruckner and John Philip Sousa.
