Over the past 30 years, Farrell has offered courses, lectured and published books and articles on topics that range from Homer and Vergil to Ridley Scott and Silvio Berlusconi. His current research projects include a book, Juno’s Aeneid: Narrative, Metapoetics, Dissent; a series of studies of the literature of the Roman suburbium; and articles on the relationship between scholarly and literary production in antiquity.
