Diana Cage
Diana Cage writes extensively about sexuality, sexual culture and social policy. She is the author of six books and editor of two anthologies of fiction and essays. Her most recent book is the Lesbian Sex Bible (Quiver, 2014) and Mind Blowing Sex: A Woman’s Guide (Seal Press, 2012), an explicitly feminist guide to sexual pleasure for women. Cage was formerly editor of the influential lesbian magazine On Our Backs and host of The Diana Cage Show on SiriusXM. Her work has appeared in Curve, Girlfriends, Quartz, Shewired, The Advocate, Esquire and other media outlets. She is at work on a novel and a collection of essays. Cage teaches writing at Pratt Institute.
Jarett Kobek
Jarett Kobek is the son of a Turkish immigrant and a graduate of New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. His Pushcart Prize-nominated fiction has been anthologized alongside Haruki Murakami and F.X. Toole. His novel ATTA (The MIT Press) offers a fictionalized psychedelic biography of Mohamed Atta that circles around a simple question: What if 9/11 was as much a matter of architectural criticism as religious terrorism?

The Creative Writing Department opens its Writers on Writing course to the public every semester. Taught by Dodie Bellamy, the course features faculty and visiting writers reading from their works and discussing their creative process.
