Jee Leong-Koh

A Singapore poet and essayist living in New York, Jee Leong-Koh is the author of four books of poems: Payday Loans (Poets Wear Prada Press, Math Paper Press), Equal to the Earth (Bench Press), Seven Studies for a Self Portrait (Bench Press) and Steep Tea (Carcanet Press), as well as a collection of poetic essays, The Pillow Book (Math Paper Press). Shortlisted for the Singapore Literature Prize, his work has been translated into Chinese, Japanese and Russian. He is co-organizer of the Singapore Literature Festival in New York.

Writers on Writing

The Creative Writing Department opens its Writers on Writing course to the public every semester. Taught by Dodie Bellamy, the course features faculty and visiting writers reading from their works and discussing their creative process.
