The annual San Francisco Black Film Festival kicks off at SF State with Lambadina, a feature-length drama directed by Messay Getahun. Following the life of Joseph, we see a boy consistently faced with overwhelming tragedy. A son losing a father, a young man losing a lover, an Ethiopian losing his culture … yet through these challenges, he is resilient. Getahun and the cast will be present. $10 - $20.
