Mia Mingus discusses her work related to access intimacy, which she defines as "that elusive, hard to describe feeling when someone else 'gets' your access needs." Mingus is a queer, Korean, transracial, transnational adoptee and a national activist for social justice. She a 2016 Just Beginnings Collaborative fellow funded for The Living Bridges Project, an anonymous story-collecting project documenting collective responses to child sexual abuse and a core member of the Bay Area Transformative Justice Collective.
