Epoch explores the passing of time; sometimes overwhelming and scary, and at other moments calm and unmoving, and all the while these measurements of our lifetime are coming together in an arrestingly magnificent, unimagined way. Chianese’s choreography has been professionally commissioned twice and awarded three residencies.

Chianese has performed with Rogelio Lopez and Dancers, Garrett and Moulton Productions, Paufve | Dance, Blind Tiger Society, Kristin Damrow and Company, dNaga, Sarah Bush Dance Project, Contemporary Dance Oklahoma and Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre, among others. She teaches movement at primarily Shawl-Anderson Dance Center, Roco Dance and Fitness, Berkeley Ballet Theater and Ace Dance Academy and is a guest teacher at Dance Mission Theater, City College of San Francisco and SF State.
