alex cruse
alex cruse is an Oakland-based interdisciplinary artist, writer and educator. She is half of the audio-visual-textual-performance project Drought Spa with her husband, Kevin CK Lo. Her first book of poetry, Contraverse, was published this year by Timeless, Infinite Light. cruse has exhibited and performed nationally and abroad.
Kevin CK Lo
Kevin CK Lo, the other half of Drought Spa, is a composer, choreographer, artist and writer based in Oakland, born in New Zealand. Lo also works with iterative visuals, machinic text and spatialized media. In his compositions for live performance and installation, he utilizes instruments, digital sound processing and generative programming environments.
