Hushidar Mortezaie discusses his fashion designs that have been featured in Italian Vogue and worn by celebrities such as Beyoncé and Sarah Jessica Parker. He reflects the past, present and future of his heritage to inspire the next generation of Iranian-American youth to take pride in their culture. Mortezaie is a fashion designer, visual artist and activist whose work blends folklore, gender politics, and iconography. Light refreshments will be served. Free.
