Newmark is employment programs director for Integrated Community Services, an employment and independent living services provider in San Rafael. She received her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Los Angeles, and her Master of Science in Counseling from San Francisco State, with specializations in rehabilitation and marriage and family. Previously, she facilitated support groups for parents of children with disabilities at Matrix Parent Network and Resource Center.
