Guest choreographer dana e. fitchett creates dance that is fluid and subtle, pulling influences from ballet and traditional West African styles. She is inspired by Katherine Dunham, who stated “Verbalization is apt to end in sterility,” and, in the words of Toni Morrison, “Everything is now. It is all now.” Faculty choreographers Wendy Diamond, Arvejon Jones and Ray Tadio contribute new works and are joined by student choreographers. Directed by Ray Tadio and Jo Tomalin. March 12 – March 14, 7:30 p.m. March 15, 2 p.m. A post-show talkback will take place on March 15. $8 - $20.
