The 60th Film Finals

A San Francisco State tradition for more than half a century, Film Finals is the annual showcase of the year’s best student films — and the city’s premier student cinema event. Free.

SF State’s School of Cinema has made The Hollywood Reporter’s list of the top 25 American film schools for five consecutive years and Variety’s 2020 list of top film schools worldwide. Student films from previous Film Finals have gone on to screen at festivals worldwide including Cannes, Telluride, SXSW and San Francisco International Film Festival.
