Emiko Omori

Emiko Omori, a native Californian and San Francisco State graduate, is a highly regarded cinematographer, writer and director. In 1968 she became the first female news camera operator in San Francisco, on KQED’s “Newsroom.” For more than three decades, she has freelanced as cinematographer on many award-winning documentaries, features, industrials, commercials and educational films.
