Novelist Azareen Van der Vliet Oloomi (“Fra Keeler,” “Call Me Zebra”) is a 2015 Whiting Award winner, National Book Foundation “5 under 35” honoree and Fulbright fellow. An assistant professor at the University of Notre Dame, she has had residency fellowships from MacDowell and Ledig House.
