Japanese violinist Mayumi Kanagawa wins 26th annual Klein String Competition

SAN FRANCISCO, June 7, 2011 — Violinist Mayumi Kanagawa wowed the audience and the judges at the 26th annual Irving M. Klein International String Competition this past weekend at San Francisco State University, winning first prize and propelling what promises to be a successful career in music.
