Graduate Students in Performance Studies Present Feminist Follies and Other Fallacies

Thursday, April 26, 2012

An original show based on personal narratives that touch on diverse issues drawn from experiences and observations of the trials and tribulations of everyday life as well as theoretical concepts studied over the course of the semester. The solo and ensemble pieces presented share the perspectives of five young performer/writers on such themes as perceptions of beauty, body image, dating, marriage, and meat consumption. The varied pieces presented are interwoven into seven scenes that offer humor, sadness, self-reflection, and possibilities for the future. Please announce this show to your classes, invite your friends and plan to attend this special performance of our graduate students in Communication Studies.
