SF State’s Office of Research and Sponsored Programs recently awarded eight grants to faculty members in the College of Liberal and Creative Arts, funding research and arts projects pursuing Russian foreign policy, a documentary on traumatic brain injuries suffered by soldiers, a documentary on LGBT activists running for political office in conservative countries, visionary theorist and inventor R. Buckminster Fuller, writing skills and more.
Each one-year grant is between $15,000 and $25,000. The office awarded 23 small grants.
The office’s Small Grants Program fosters the professional development of investigators and creative artists by supporting original projects that contribute significantly to the professional achievement and growth of applicants.
