Alum Val Dolcini Moving from Davis to Washington, D.C.

WOODLAND DAILY DEMOCRAT -- As Farm Service Agency administrator, Dolcini will be in charge of an agency that handles commodity programs, crop insurance, emergency assistance, and more for farmers and ranchers. He will oversee 2,100 FSA offices around the country with about 10,000 employees reporting to him. Dolcini has a Bachelor’s in History from San Francisco State University and a law degree from Golden Gate University. Prior to being appointed state executive director, he managed all government relations activities in the western United States for Accenture LLC, a global consulting firm.
