Professor Todorov makes National Geographic Photo of the Day

Jassen Todorov teaches violin at SF State, but utilized his flying and photography talents to make National Geographic's Photo of the Day on September 2.

An associate music professor by day and a pilot by night and weekends, Todorov shot his incredible photo of Yellowstone National Park's Grand Prismatic Spring while flying his 1976 Piper Warrior 11,000 feet above the ground in high winds and turbulence.

Todorov also teaches flight instruction and keeps his plane parked at the San Carlos airport.
