THE RECORDER (SAN FRANCISCO) -- Jillisa Bronfman is the subject-matter expert on privacy and network security at Verizon, a role that includes designing and teaching in-house training courses on data security, compliance and intellectual property. She also teaches at San Francisco State University, where she’s developing a new advanced seminar in mobile communications, and is a frequent speaker on such topics as drone regulation and the legal implications of 3-D printing. Biggest professional accomplishment? “Teaching in-house and at the university level. Sharing what I know and learning from my students.” Biggest accomplishment outside work? “I’m reading a story at LitCrawl in San Francisco on October 18. Come and hear some of my techie fiction; robot and drone companions are welcome. Also, I should say raising small humans to function in society is fascinating work.”
