CARSON VALLEY TIMES -- The Douglas County Public Library in Minden presents a gathering of local authors on Wednesday, October 15. Richard Arbib received a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and has written “The Vampire Girl Next Door.” In the story Mark falls in love with Sylvia, the beautiful, but quirky girl next door, not realizing she is the vampire who killed his last neighbor.
