USA Today: SF State Has Highest Paid Grads in Education Field

SF State ranks No. 1 nationwide for producing the highest paid graduates in the field of education, USA Today recently reported.

“San Francisco State University is a large public school with approximately 26,000 students,” Megan Cahill writes in her story. “The (Graduate) College of Education offers professional training to prepare students for successful careers as teachers. The high average starting salary of $42,000 makes SFSU a good choice for education majors. Additionally, education graduates of SFSU go on to earn an average mid-career salary of $74,000.”

The rankings are based on salary data provided by PayScale.
