Alumni Chet, Sharon Brenneise Among Stockton Chorale Couples to Perform 'Hearts in Time'

STOCKTON RECORD -- Chet, 79, and Sharon, 73, Brenneise have sustained that since they met as a cappella vocal students at San Francisco State University. “I just know it’s good for us,” said Sharon, a soprano, who has been singing with Chet, a bass, throughout their 52-year marriage. “We can practice together and car-pool together. It’s just a wonderful thing to look across and see Chet. He’s singing and I’m singing. To see us doing this wonderful thing together. “There have been some really special things. It’s heartwarming and something that holds us close together. It’s something we love. We do enjoy it.”
