HERALD-MAIL (HAGERSTOWN, MARYLAND) -- “Haphazard” was how Lindsay Sullivan, curator at the Jefferson County Museum, described the way thousands of artifacts, letters and images that relate to the county’s people, places and events were displayed throughout the collection. The museum, which opened in 1965, opens its 2015 season March 14 with a reception in celebration of its 50th anniversary. Sullivan came to the museum in January 2014 from California. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Museum Studies from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in history and visual culture from University of California, Santa Cruz.
