SF WEEKLY -- While I’m beating the tenuous San Francisco television connections to death, here’s one last one. “Arrested Development” is officially making a fifth season, with 17 episodes. Creator Mitch Hurwitz conceived of 2013’s season four (which Netflix released seven years after Fox canceled the sitcom) as the first part of a planned trilogy. Admittedly, the Bluth family of Orange County have virtually nothing to do with the Bay Area, but we could all use a little good news. Also, Carl Weathers (who played himself in four episodes) went to SF State, so there’s that.
