BENITOLINK (SAN BENITO COUNTY) -- “I am an impressionist landscape painter. My current works (cityscapes) are emphasizing the shapes, and patterns of color that define the form,” Haseloff said. “These changing facets of color and mosaics of patterns build a picture that has movement and rhythm. That rhythm takes the viewer in to the painting and allows them to be carried through the various passages that contribute to the whole picture. "How I got here. ... I fell in love with doing art with my first art class in 1984 at community college in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It was a graphic design class, and I was immediately hooked by the design concepts hidden in pictures. I followed up the graphics courses with some fine art painting courses at a community college in Boston and then more painting classes at San Francisco State University.”
