Just in time for final exams, the College of Liberal & Creative Arts has opened a drop-in computer lab for students. Located in Humanities 110, the lab is part of the the College’s Advising Resource Center offering personalized advising services to students.
The lab features 12 Dell Optiplex PCs and four iMac computers. Each computer contains the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite and IBM’s SPSS software. The lab and center also have 16 seats and desks intended for use by students with laptops.
Both the lab and center are open 9am – 5pm weekdays. Beginning this fall, hours will extend to 9pm.
At the Advising Resource Center next door in Humanities 112, students can get help with petitions, choosing classes and a wide-range of advising topics including probation, educational resources, scholarships, student records in Campus Solutions and honors.
