Alum Philippe Brunot Gains Distribution for Documentary 'Follow the Zebra'

INDIE WIRE -- Canadian-based distributor Tree of Film is proud to announce the video-on-demand release of “Follow the Zebra,” a human-interest documentary film directed by Philippe Brunot. “Follow the Zebra” focuses on the lives behind the front lines of the gemstone mining trade in Tanzania — these small scale miners who tirelessly dig the unforgiving, rocky ground that for them holds the only hope of a better future for themselves and their families. Philippe Brunot, the film’s director, is an independent filmmaker born on the island of Madagascar. Of French origins, Brunot was raised in Madagascar and the U.S., before receiving his BA from San Francisco State University with a Cinema Studies degree. Brunot resides in Montreal where he works as a creative video content adviser at JAX Studio Studios and continues as a film producer and director.
