DAILY MAIL -- These amazing aerial photographs were taken above the lake in the Sierra Nevada mountain range by keen photographer Jassen Todorov. He took the incredible pictures after the leafy shapes caught his eye while he was flying over the lake. The 40-year-old from San Francisco flew a plane up to 2,000 feet above the salt farm to recapture what he had seen. Mr. Todorov, a professor of Music at San Francisco State University, said: “The shapes were created by humans, this is an industrial salt farm. The patterns look amazing. It looks like they are big leaves in the lake. In fact, it was exactly these leafy shapes that caught my attention when I was in the air.”
