SIERRA STAR -- Simone Radliff, 2012 Yosemite High School graduate, was recognized at the 2015 Social Science Research and Instructional Center conference held May 7, at California State University, Sacramento. Radliff’s paper “Education for Political Empowerment: The Effect of Collective-Efficacy Developing” won for Best Paper Using Quantitative Data. She is working on completing her final year as a Political Science undergraduate at San Francisco State University. Following graduation, she will seek a Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley, in education and continue her research. As winner in this category, Radliff received $5,000.
