Poetry Clips of the Week: Michael Gizzi's Collected Poems, a celebration

Clark Coolidge introduces his reading of several works (by Jack Kerouac, Herman Melville, and “Exile’s Letter,” Ezra Pound’s 1915 translation of Li Po) that he’d previously read at a memorial for Michael Gizzi “in Jamestown, Rhode Island, June 25, 2011, the day that Mike’s ashes were scattered into Narragansett Bay.” He opens with a short poem by Keith Abbott, “Man Overboard,” at The Poetry Center’s celebration for Michael Gizzi's Collected Poems (The Figures, 2015), October 2, 2015, at The Green Arcade in San Francisco.
