Student Fiona Sharkey Wins California Water Service Scholarship

CHICO ENTERPRISE-RECORD -- Las Plumas High School alumna Fiona Sharkey, daughter of Bob and Kathleen Sharkey, received a college scholarship from California Water Service, during a luncheon held recently in her honor. Attending are from left, Bob Sharkey, Kathleen Sharkey, Fiona and Toni Ruggle, California Water Service, Oroville district manager. Fiona is a freshman at San Francisco State University and is majoring in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts. The next scholarship cycle will open in spring 2016 for students pursuing higher education in fall 2016. To be eligible for a scholarship, students must live in a California Water Service area.
