Alum Jody Skenderian Named Girl Scouts Chief Development Officer

VENTURA COUNTY STAR -- Skenderian joins the executive leadership team overseeing business and fund development efforts throughout the council’s six-county area to further the mission of Girl Scouting along the Central Coast. Skenderian will have with responsibilities for program and operations fund development strategy, expansion of public support, stewardship of planned and major gifts and grant administration with a team stretching from Ventura County to Santa Cruz County. Previously, Skenderian was director of community relations for University of Phoenix’s Southern California Campus. Skenderian has also held adjunct teaching positions both online and on-campus for area colleges and universities including Santa Barbara City College and Ventura College. Skenderian holds a Master’s in Political Science from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
