REDDING RECORD SEARCHLIGHT -- Meg Sheehy grew up with an immense love of music passed down to by her dad, Doug, a seasoned North State performer best known for his work with the Sheehy Brothers Band. At a young age she began singing and attempted to learn many instruments such as piano and guitar at the urging of her musical parents. After graduation from San Francisco State with a degree in Music, she and her dad began playing together more frequently. They now enjoy performing regularly together in Susanville, Lake Almanor, Quincy and Redding.
