DAVIS CLIPPER (BOUNTIFUL, UTAH) -- French-American Marjorie Conrad graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in film production. She was a finalist on the 11th cycle of “America’s Next Top Model,” and she brought her experiences from the world of modeling to Slamdance with “Chemical Cut,” her debut as a feature-film director. “I wanted to tell my story, to perhaps shed some light on the challenges that go on behind the scenes for models,” she told me. She’s done it well with her film, and this festival will give her the extra exposure her work deserves.
