Clarence Major reads “Question Mark,” from his book Myself Painting, March 3, 2016, at The Poetry Center, San Francisco State University. The full program includes Major’s complete reading, from manuscript and from his books including From Now On: New and Selected Poems, 1970 – 2015 (University of Georgia Press, 2015), followed by Patricia Spears Jones reading from her work, and the two poets fielding questions from the audience.

 

 

Patricia Spears Jones reads “Kara Walker Draws the Blues,” from “Swimming to America,” included in her book A Lucent Fire: New and Selected Poems (White Pine Press, 2015), March 3, 2016, at The Poetry Center, San Francisco State University. The full program includes her complete reading, preceded by Clarence Major reading from his work, and followed by the two poets fielding questions from the audience.
