WMDT-CHANNEL 7 (SALISBURY, MARYLAND) -- Ashonti Ford is joining our news department today as an MMJ/Reporter/Producer. She comes to us most recently from KMIR News in Palm Springs, where she served as an intern. Prior to that, she worked as on-air talent at DASH Radio in Hollywood, where she also researched and presented show topics. Other related jobs include Kip Morrison and Associates in Beverly Hills (writing press releases and coordinating events), PBS (marketing coordinator) and internships at CBS Investigative in Miami and KGO (ABC in San Francisco). Ford is a graduate of San Francisco State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts.
