Alum Ayse Ildeniz Named Silver Spring Networks' COO

ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER -- Ildeniz joins Silver Spring from Intel Corporation, where she was vice president of the new devices group and general manager of strategy and business development, leading a team charged with creating groundbreaking IoT devices and technologies. During her tenure at Intel, she held a variety of leadership roles including as the regional director for Middle East, Turkey and Africa, a region consisting of 67 countries. In this role, she quadrupled Intel’s business in the region by building out country expansions and establishing businesses in new segments. Ildeniz joined Intel as the marketing director for the Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa region, then served as the Intel Turkey country manager before assuming responsibility for the entire region. Ildeniz has a Bachelor’s degree from Bosphorus University, Istanbul, and a Master’s degree in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State University.
