On December 1, The Poetry Center presented Kuwentuhan (Talkstory),” featuring Oscar Bermeo and Barbara Jane Reyes reading from their work. The event also included a screening of a short film and an audience Q&A.
This event continued a collaboration between artists, audiences and The Poetry Center, as a way of enlarging this circle beyond ethnic boundaries, in contested urban spaces. Kuwentuhan (Talkstory) is a project of The Poetry Center and Reyes, supported by the Creative Work Fund.
