Decades Later, Pain Lingers for Family of Slain Alum Frank Carlson

SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE -- The crime has stayed with Eric Carlson — who was 16 at the time of the killing — but so have his undimmed memories of his brother, an aspiring journalist who was a graduate of San Francisco State University. “He was a really good person,” Eric Carlson tearfully recounted. “He was my big brother and he always looked out for me, and I looked up to him.”
