The College of Liberal & Creative Arts is offering 126 course sections this summer — 23 more than last year — to help students make progress toward graduation. All courses are major requirements, major electives or General Education requirements. With 34 online courses available, you can study from anywhere in the world.

Overall, the University is offering 532 classes, 63 more than last summer. Among the total number of courses, 147 will be available online.

Choose among five-week, eight-week and 10-week sessions. Classes begin June 5.

Priority registration for current students begins April 3. Open registration begins April 17. Priority registration is given to current SF State students, but classes are also open to the public through Open University.

Adding flexibility in your wallet, financial aid is available in the state-supported summer school. State University Grants are available to eligible students. Students with Pell grants may be able to apply any remaining funds from their 2016 – 2017 awards toward summer classes.

On-campus housing is available.
