Poetry Clips of the Week: Margaret Randall

On March 30, The Poetry Center presented a reading and conversation with Margaret Randall. She spoke and read from Only the Road/Solo el Camino: Eight Decades of Cuban Poetry (Duke University Press, 2016), an anthology she edited and translated.

Only the Road/Solo el Camino is the most complete bilingual anthology of Cuban poetry available to an English readership. It features the work of more than 50 poets writing across the last eight decades.

Randall introduces then reads her translation of Georgina Herrera’s brief poem Ancestral Poverty, from her anthology Only the Road/Solo el Camino.
