SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE -- Emmy Award-winning actor Jeffrey Tambor (“Transparent,” “Arrested Development”) says San Francisco played a big part in his education. He was born here, grew up in the city and in Daly City, and got his undergraduate degree at San Francisco State University, where he wandered into the theatre and a star was born.
In an event sponsored by the Booksmith, Tambor will talk about his book Thursday, May 25, at the Roxie Theater. If you’re anybody, or just somebody, you don’t want to miss it.
