AMERICAN MATHEMATICAL SOCIETY -- The fellowship carries a stipend of $91,000, plus an expense allowance of $9,100. Shuichiro Takeda obtained a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tokyo University of Science and Master’s degrees in Philosophy and Mathematics from San Francisco State University.
