BROADWAY WORLD (SAN FRANCISCO) -- The fall, the New Conservatory Theatre Center Family Matinee Series flies over the rainbow with a new telling of L. Frank Baum’s classic, The Wizard of Oz, in a stage adaptation by Stephanie Temple, who also directs with Sophie Iribarren.
Adapter and co-director Stephanie Temple is has worked at New Conservatory Theatre Center as a teacher, director and playwright since 2002. Temple has a Bachelor of Arts from University of Southern California’s School of Theatre and a Master’s in Drama from San Francisco State University. She has taught acting, improvisation, dance and musical theatre at NCTC, CSU Stanislaus, Merced College and PCPA Theatrefest. She runs the drama program at Live Oak School in Potrero Hill.
