Alum Beth Wilmurt is Back as Chekhov’s Beloved Olga

SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS -- Herself the eldest of three sisters, Wilmurt is a Bay Area native who grew up in Dublin in the Tri-Valley area of the East Bay and got into theatre in college at San Francisco State.

She co-founded Art Street Theatre with Jackson, whom she met in a play at SFSU. A company member at Shotgun Players, where she recently starred in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, she’s also been in a half-dozen plays at Aurora, starting with Salome in 2006. Her last Aurora show was actually the production that opened the UpStage in 2014, The Letters.
